Variations on a Love Theme -Night 2

Ventana Ballet & Austin Camerata hit the stage again together in Variations on Love Theme, but it’s not just another Valentine’s show for love-struck couples. Love is indeed the underscored theme, but everyone knows love presents itself in many non-romantic forms, too. These two local performing arts companies invite guests—singles, couples, and groups alike—to join them at First Street Studio Theater on February 9th and 10th, as they share six different love stories, drawing inspiration from The 5 Love Languages and The 8 Types of Love.

CelloFest

CelloFest

It’s a one-of-a-kind program. Eight cellists in one room, playing everything from Bossa Nova to Harry Styles to Queen to Mozart. The atmosphere is almost other worldly.

The can’t-miss event of January! A cello choir has a certain sonority that can’t be achieved by a more traditional group, such as a string quartet. Last year’s program included works by Piazzolla, Samuel Barber, Mozart, and Aretha Franklin. This year’s program promises to be just as eclectic and exciting.

All shows sold out last year, so make sure to get your tickets early.

Shows times: 2pm, 5pm and 8pm
